Prep
Preheat the oven to 425 F
In a separate bowl, drizzle a coating of olive oil making sure the sides of the bowl are fully coated.
Once the dough has formed a cohesive and slightly sticky ball, lightly dust your hands with all purpose flour and form the dough into a ball.
Place the dough ball into the bowl with olive oil. Once the dough is in the bowl, flip the ball onto its other side to coat the whole dough ball in olive oil.
5 Rest
Place a towel over the bowl and place the bowl near the oven that is preheating. This will allow the dough to be in a warm environment which will aid in activating the yeast.
Allow the dough to rest for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
6 Shaping the dough
On a flat surface, roll out the dough using a rolling pin. Fold the edges of the pizza dough inward to create a crust. Lightly brush the dough surface with olive oil and poke holes throughout the surface of the dough using a fork.
After adding toppings, pizza is ready to go into the oven for 15-20 minutes

Note
Common mistakes to avoid:
- Adding too much flour or putting lukewarm/cold water when making the dough. This can cause the dough to turn out dry or not rise at all.
- Careful not to over-sauce or over-cheese the pizza. Too much cheese and too much sauce over-moisturizes the pizza and can cause a greasy mess! Especially with cheeses like mozzarella which naturally contain a lot of moisture.
